Dr. Jane Evans is a uOttawa Assistant Professor and a psychiatrist who is involved in psychiatry resident training. She supervises residents in both psychodynamic therapy and group psychotherapy. She has a passion for Brainspotting therapy because of its immense healing potential, and has been at the forefront of developing Brainspotting therapy in Canada.
Dr Marjorie Robb has been a psychotherapist and a child and adolescent psychiatrist for many years, and is a UOttawa Assistant Professor. Marjorie has dived enthusiastically into Brainspotting therapy for kids, teens and adults, and is involved in clinical research for Brainspotting therapy with young people. Marjorie is happy to be one of Canada’s trainers and to be part of the exciting journey many clinicians are making in their discovery of Brainspotting therapy.
Dr. J. Talbot completed a Ph.D in neuroscience before joining uOttawa as an Assistant Professor. She is currently the psychiatry residency training Program Director in the Department of Psychiatry. She supervises students in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She is involved in psychopharmacology research at the Institute of Mental Health Research. In collaboration with psychiatrists at the Royal Ottawa Hospital, she is launching a clinical trial comparing Brainspotting to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Dell is a Clinical Psychologist from Winnipeg with individuals across the lifespan and from all walks of life. He has been integral in bringing Brainspotting Therapy to Manitoba and eagerly supports Brainspotting therapy through education, supervision, and consultation. His goal is to bring BSP training to First Nations Healers and Elders.
Allyson is a Certified Canadian Counsellor from Winnipeg. She works with children, youth, and adults and has been excited to bring Brainspotting therapy into her practice. She looks forward to the Brainspotting community growing across Canada and is committed to provide support and encouragement to Brainspotting therapists through education and consultation.
